Hello and Thank you for considering utilizing me as your
Wedding MC. I live in this beautiful tropical paradise and
co-incidentally The Whitsundays is one of the most popular
locations in Australia for weddings.
It is a privilege for me to be "invited" to be
apart of your wedding celebrations and being the Master of
Ceremonies at any event does not just mean that I turn up
and introduce the "happy couple".
Please understand that being the MC does entail a lot of homework
or research on the couple, their history and numerous phone
calls and emails to make sure that the reception goes exactly
to their wishes.
My role as the MC is to try and take the pressure off the
bridal couple and help turn their day from a serious, nervous,
emotional ceremony into a party style celebration of their
wedding day. It is their wedding day and it is important that
both the bride and groom are totally relaxed and enjoy the
festivities of the evening without stress. Let's face it,
they would have been through a lot of stress in the months
coming up to the special day and the reception is their time
to enjoy as well as a time to show and share their love for
each other amongst family and friends.

As you don't know me, I always find it more personal to have
a conversation over the phone. That way you may get a feel
to confirm whether you are comfortable with me to host your
wedding reception. Obviously the alternative is that you find
I am a loser and wouldn't want me anywhere near your family
celebrations.
Ideally the first option would be preferred. It does make
for a better reception!
